Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use tamilcenter.org, our admin site, or a TCSI member account. Tamil Center Stamford Inc. ("TCSI", "we", "us") is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Stamford, Connecticut. By using the website or signing in, you agree to these terms.

1. Your member account

• You sign in with your own Google account or email address. Please use one account per person and keep your details accurate on My Profile.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us at info@tamilcenter.org if you think someone else has used it.
• Member accounts are intended for adults. Parents or guardians arrange their children's participation in TCSI programs.
• We may deactivate an account that is misused or that breaks these terms. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

2. Acceptable use

Please use the website respectfully and lawfully. Don't:

• try to access accounts, data or areas of the site you're not authorized to use;
• interfere with the site's operation or security, or use automated tools to collect member information;
• use information from the site to contact members for commercial or unrelated purposes.

3. Volunteers with admin access

Volunteers given access to our admin site may use member information only for TCSI work, within the role they were given. Don't copy, export or share member information outside TCSI. Admin actions are recorded.

4. Events, tickets and donations

• Tickets and donations are processed by Zeffy, whose terms also apply to your purchase or gift.
• Event details (dates, venues, programs and prices) can change. We'll post updates on the event page and contact ticket holders about significant changes. For refund questions, please contact us.
• Donations to TCSI are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

5. Content on this site

The TCSI name, seal and the Arumbu, TCSI Youth and Women's Network logos, along with the text and photos on this site, belong to TCSI or are used with permission. Please don't reuse them without asking us first. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

7. No warranties

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" by volunteers. We can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TCSI and its volunteers aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States.
