Who we are

Celebrating Tamil language and heritage in Connecticut

Tamil Center of Stamford, Inc. (TCSI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural organization based in Stamford, Connecticut. Our story began in 2014 with the founding of our Arumbu Tamil School, and TCSI was incorporated as a nonprofit in 2018. Today we bring together a growing community of Tamil families across Fairfield County to celebrate our shared language, arts, and heritage, and to share that heritage with our neighbors.

In 2024, our community marked 10 years since Arumbu first opened its doors: a decade of language classes, cultural celebrations, and growing together.
